Default Looking for Easy to do Quilt Blocks

I am looking for easy quilt block ideas. I can do a flying geese pattern, so I do not want that. I am looking for something to do for my doll quilt swap and for a doll quilt that I'm making for a friend. I just want something easy.

    Thank you!
    Alu

When I'm looking for new block/quilt ideas I go to QuiltersCache.ComIf you like a block, many patterns are based on a grid system, so can be re-scaled easy enough to a smaller/larger size.

About.com has easy quilt blocks and education about quilting. Directions are very clear.

I'd check out some of the "modern" quilting patterns. They are often geometric and involve little matching.
