Default Update on quilt made for my daughter

http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t194606-4.html

So she came to visit me last night and to drop off some boxes at my house since she is moving back to Dallas to go to law school.

She totally loved her quilt and said "Yep Mom that is so me!" I should have taken a picture of her with it, but didn't think about it until I got to work.

When she gets into law school, I plan to make her an applique quilt with justice symbols. Thanks for looking!

Monique

It's gorgeous -- I wouldn't have thought about using the black prints that way. Nice contrast, yet not too dark. Just added it to my list!

The quilt with the justice symbols sounds interesting. My DD is a newly-minted lawyer & since she just got engaged to a JAG, that would make an awesome wedding quilt for them. Where do you find those symbols in a form that would work for applique?

Best of luck to your DD. Mine said there were 3 stages to law school: year 1 they scare you to death, year 2 they work you to death & year 3 they bore you to death... LOL!
