The "fixed" one is really balanced and pleasing to the eye. It really is amazing what a few changes can do.

it definitely needed that darker border to STOP the movement and make the eye settle down...I think this is great!

I like it with the blue border too, it brings out the colors betterd, I think.

Thanks for showing us the re-done quilt. You're like most of us - can't stand to leave an obvious 'mistake' in a quilt. Little ones are ok, but the big ones drive us nuts!
