Default use polition signs for fabric storage boards????

I hear you could use those plastic ones for wrapping your fabric on if you cut them down, but I was wondering if the ink would come off on your fabric???

I don't know if you can use them. I do know that you can't collect them until AFTER the elections.

I was thinking of asking one of them if I could come get them from them after they collected them.

I think most of the signs would be rather grimy. I bought Wilton big rectangle cake boards and cut to get three boards from one. Easy to cut and very sturdy and inexpensive. 3 to a package so I got 9 boards from each package. If it's safe for food it's safe for fabric.

I don;t know if the signs could be used or not. They could be washed if dirty and you may know then if the paint would come off. Around here they remain up for a long time after the election. This would be the best use of them. I doubt anyone makes their choice by seeing signs.

I wouldn't want any trace of politics in my quilting space.

It is a federal offense to interfere with political signs.
They remain the property of the candidate and here they have 7 days to pick them up after the election and I think there is a fine if they don't. Some candidates might reuse them another year.
However it is the same material as the popular boards so I would hate to see them dumped in the landfill!
I've never seen the ink rub off. They are professionally printed at least the ones I have seen.

I think they'd last --- over here, where we have snow and brutal sun, they last forever. I suggest you check with your local quilt shop and get the boards that hold the fabric in the shop. I work in a shop and it's amazing how many of those get tossed (mostly given away).......
