Thank you; I plan to try this for the first time next week when I finish this darned piano key border. Am working on a basket table topper, in pastels for spring. Flannel sounds perfect for the batting.

A warning, buy extra for each pattern to allow for shrinkage. It really is the best you can use it in so many projects like the rag quilts, the table runners, sofa throws, so many.

Wow, do I love those Ohio blocks!!!!!!!!!!!! What a nice table cover, I like that the flannel gives a thinner finish than the batting, well done!

I've always been afraid to use it because I have heard so many horror stories about how it stretches and distorts. Maybe I'll try it.

I am a hand quilter. I would like to try flannel in a table runner. How is it to quilt by hand?
