anyone know anything about the new Evensew machines?
Just saw an ad for new "5th generation Bernina Evensew machines"--says they are metal heads not plastic and price between $200-400. So my question is, does anyone have one? Are they truly metal? and if so, how heavy? For that price I'm assuming no computer, right?
I teach a beginner class and there are always gals that during the class discuss getting a new machine--this sounds like a great price for a travel or beginner machine if it's as good as the ad.

I've sewn on one, the higher end one, the Sparrow 25. It sewed great. Several guild members have one and I haven't heard anyone complain. They bought them when a dealer came to vend at a meeting and gave sale price. Leah Day has a video of the machine with the housing off. It has a metal frame.
