Default Using Velcro on quilting frame rollers

I purchased some heavy duty velcro and am wanting to put this on the rollers of my frame. I have a Grace Pro wood frame with metal rollers. My question is what size do I use for the rollers. I know to take it from one end to the other but what I don't know is the width. Sure would appreciate some help on this.
Thank you.

when I had a Hinterberg frame [metal rollers], I used 1" velcro. my velcro came with glue on the back. I had the set up about 2 years and the glue began failing.

My alluminium rollers have 1" velcro glued on, but also several pop rivets, just to 'make sure'.
You could use screws to secure the fabric.
