Have you ever have one of those days that every thing you touch went wrong. I am doing a 10 minute block and I was doing so good . Yea, I thought I did one side then did the other side last night. Today I was so happy I was going to the middle seam. I pick up the first one and had sew one with the inside out. Looked through and sure enough there was four more. I put them to the side and started on the middle and for the life of me, I could not get a straight seam. After take it out over and over. I came up with a way that work for me I line one side up and sew it the I do the same to the other side, it worked. Hooray. Now maybe I will be able to do it in 10 minutes, or not!!! We will see.

I think you had a camera on me when I did that block. LOL I finally started pinning everywhere that I had to sew. And then turned right side out to make sure that I had made 'contact' with the alledged seam that I needed to sew. It will get better. When you have to rip it out more than once, it's time to put it away for the day or night and rest your mind. Do something nice for yourself. You deserve it. - Cheryl

I will never forget the time I managed to sew a 14-inch zipper into a top--with the top TWISTED around the neckline! I've sewed dozens of zippers, and that's the only time I haven't managed to get it right on the first try. I still have no earthly idea how I managed to do that. After the initial fit of rage, I had a good laugh and a beer and put it in a time-out til the next day. ;)

Play some music while you rip! It makes the time go by a little easier! We've all been there!
