I've seen some really adorable teddy bears made from cutter quilts. Also, if larger pieces can be saved there are folks that have redone furniture with cutter quilts. I hope my quilts are loved and used so much they become "cutters"!

I made stuffed Teddy Bears for my neices one year from an cutter. I was able to save enough from one to make runners for dressers in extra bedrooms. I've seen purses and placemats.
