There are 10+ bidders and I would bet most are overseas bidders. This would be a real bargain for them. Vintage means they pay a lesser amount to bring it into their country and most of them are paying $18.00 a yard and up for Walmart quality materials.

the fabric looks interesting, but that is a bit steep for stuff you can't see or touch.

That's about the truth! Much of this stuff screams 1990s, how that can be vintage I'll never know. Not even collector stuff. Very strange.

On one page, I had sewn several projects with all of those fabrics back in 1998-2000. On another page with the red background and tiny yellow flowers, the babysitter made my daughter an outfit out of that 32 years ago, is that "vintage"?

I agree, sometimes people get carried away with bidding and winning. Vintage also urges them on. I have had some of those fabrics in my stash and I gave them away!! Guess I need my head examined!!
