I will start putting away Xmas decorations today, but also pop into the sewing room in the hope of finding enough coordinating fabrics for a new baby girl quilt. Look forward to reading what everyone is working on.

Omigosh! That's what I'm working on today. Tiny little 4 patches from tiny little strips! Happy New Year!

I'm in. I'm working on a lap sized quilt. I have half of the blocks made (the easy ones) and I'll be starting the half. I'm trying the "easy Hunter's Star" from Missouri Star Quilts. Looking forward to seeing pictures if we can figure out how to post them.

I'm in...Last year I declared it the year of the triangle...well I got the waste triangles sorted by size and now working with them. Last night started pairing lights and darks of HST's that will finish at 1" for a new big small quilt. When that gets boring, I will put a UFO on the LA.

Hope your day ends great, RTeach with a Golden win!

Today is a catch-up day. Everything has been going wrong for the last few days—broke a needle, cut two paper pieced blocks on the wrong line so am making a narrow piece to create a seam allowance. Tried to get DH to go to the Outback Bowl, but no dice. Tried to get my code to go enroll at the gym today, but the website is down and the help desk is closed for the holiday. But, this is the goal for today: 1) finish the surprise BH mystery clue from yesterday. 2) finish fixing the Sugaridoo mystery quilt row 3). Lay out the sapphire panel quilt borders, cut and attach them and, if time permits, 4) layout the Split Rock lighthouse background. Better get going.

I'm in too! I've got some 60 degree triangles cut from my scraps and have found a coordinating print in my stash, plus a white tone on tone as a blender. Not sure what I'll make but will just start sewing and see what reveals itself from the scrappy bunch. But first a quick trip to get some groceries. We had 2' of snow Christmas night and my driveway is like a ski slope so I'm just now venturing out. Will report back later today. Happy stitching everyone and Happy New Year!

I've been cutting scraps and kitting up blocks for my scrappy Burgoyne Surrounded quilt. Each block has 93 tiny pieces and they take a while to cut. Hope everyone has a wonderful quilty New Year!

Taking a break for lunch, and checking on what's going on. I have all major blocks cut, still have to square up panel and cut the filler blocks and borders. But it's going well, staring out at snow and listing to Pandora (Hawaiian music to keep me warm:-)
