I'm in. Have a top I want to finish the borders, make the backing & binding, and get the batting ready. Hopefully, load it on the longarm and start quilting. It's for our DGS#1 - he's getting his RN degree. Of course we don't know when the ceremony will be now. He called us the other night to tell us he got "his first big boy job". He got a full time job at our local hospital. Still making Easter dinner but only for the two of us.

I'm in as well!

Feeling like I tackled a huge hurdle adjusting tensions on my second machine - it had been squirrely for a while, and I think it was something as simple as a tiny thread bit in the bobbin case (tensions kept varying with nothing changed). I now know how to get into the service menus and what a few screws do. I also know that I need to get a spare bobbin case.

Today I made a couple of fabric masks for DH and myself just in case we need them. Tomorrow the main machine gets switched back to FMQ to finish a really old UFO that had been frustrating me. I'm not sure I'll get it done this weekend, but crossing my fingers - I just have a little over a block to quilt then (since it's a QAYG project) I have to assemble it into an actual quilt.

I finally got the blocks for Frolic sewn together today. Put it aside to contemplate what the borders will be and because I'm just sick of it right now. I made my first mask tonight and will make more tomorrow. I'd like to make one for each of my family members - 1 DH, 4 kids, 3 in-laws, 2 GC and me, so 11 in all. I might make more or I might tackle the Oh My Stars quilt that's half laid out on my design board. So I'm in for VQW.

Hello! I have never participated in one of these, but I was planning on quilting this weekend anyway, so why not make it a social event? I am making some super cute 3d pinwheels. not sure how they will go together in a quilt, but that is usually how it goes for me!
We expect some beautiful weather here this weekend, so I may not get as much quilting done as planned, in exchange for being in the yard.

I’m in this month, I plan to make 10-20 masks (already cut out), for family and friends. In between, I will work on the 15 day 100 block challenge. I really like that pattern. I will also work on binding a baby quilt by machine. Then work on BHMQ unity. I had my fabric selected, but then decided I wanted to go 4 main colors only, maybe batiks or something like that. Then start step #1 and hopefully have time to cut step #2.

Happy sewing and creating everyone.

I'm in too! For three weeks I made masks and pretty burned out now. I have 10 more to make and then I am done. Have been wanting to get back to a Soccer quilt I am making for a friend's new baby in Germany.

I am "In" and will be1). finishing the binding on a UFO, 2). shashing on a quilt top I made last week-end and 3). piece quilt and get backing ready for two quilt tops from last week-end. My guild retreat was last week-end and we did it virtually via Zoom. three days and three tops nearly ready for quilting. QVW is timed perfectly for me to get pieces ready for the machine and quilting.

Hi Everyone! Happy Easter Eve

I am working on a fun baby quilt. It is a bit busy, because I am using a layer cake (dif. colors vs solid) that I won and several charm packs I had in my collection. There is a video that teaches you how to fold and sew pre-cut fabrics so you don't have to cut out any fabric.

Hello all. I finally had to put my Frolic away - too much overload. Will get back to it and work it in, but needed a break. I will be working on the Bonnie Hunter "Unity" quilt - part 2. Part 3 will come out Monday. My medallion center block turned out ok so I will try to continue on.
