You sewing room cleaners are so ambitious - looking around, I should have made that my plan, because a little more order and a little less dust would make working up here easier and not so sneezy!

Everyone has so much ambition - I hope you all get where you want to go!

With the plan interrupted, I'm going to probably only get "Cherry Cordials" finished and my spinning wheels log cabin pieced this weekend, but that's okay.

jmoore - that's really pretty - it'll be fun to see it quilted.

Raggiemom - thank you.

sewbizgirl - your backpack looks so professional and what a cute mix of fabrics.

I will be working on Small House #3 for the BOM on The Quilt Show, and also "attending" my virtual quilt retreat starting in an hour. Look forward to seeing what everyone accomplishes.

I have all the pendants made for my DGD’s Easter bunting, just need to make a bias tape strip to sew them altogether.
I think this is very attractive use of the color calidascope

Hi everyone, I'm in for this VQW, been looking forward to it

Raggiemom - sounds like you won't be bored / searching for a project at least! As always, thank you for hosting.

Sewbizgirl - that is a seriously impressive backpack, it looks amazing!

jmoore - pretty flimsy. I love the happy colours

I'm with all of those who are working on UFOs - I have a couple of projects that have been languishing for a while. I have more UFOs than that, but these are kind of the WIP UFOs... in my head, at least. Do other people have a UFO hierarchy? Like, WIP UFO, recent-ish UFO, definitely UFO, oh yeah I forgot about that UFO...

I should also do some tidying/sorting of my workspace. Not sure that'll happen, but it should!

First though, I want to finish off the Puffins Aloft flimsy that I started last month - I am sooo close to being finished...

Happy Quilting!

Hello all, just got home from a little camping trip with my grands and I am exhausted! But the weather was nice and they had such fun. I've been working on the pieced triangles for Sugar Top by Bonnie Hunter and have several more to trim to size before I start joining them. I also need to pull some projects for a retreat I am doing next weekend!

QuiltingVagabond--have fun on your retreat next weekend.

Sewbizgirl--cute backpack!

I finished the top for my ufo. I've decided to quilt the twelve quilts next week so that's off the schedule for this weekend. I started assembling the Winding Ways blocks, have 2 of 36 done. Hope to finish those tomorrow. Now I'm off to do some wool applique.

I'm in! Spent the last 4 days starting a long overdue "deep cleaning" of my house--got the library and the kids (grown now) Jack'nJill bathrooms done. so rewarding myself with 3 whole days of sewing/quilting. Got all the t-shirts my brother sent for his youngest' t-shirt quilt (about 30!) ready to fuse then do final cut. Started back on 2nd g-boys quilt--have 5 more columns to sew so I can put this 3D quilt together. Got the oldest g-boy's quilt (finally got the minky backing) loaded on the long arm and ready to start tomorrow. have binding and other handwork I might get to also since not so beat from cleaning.

Finished! Got the quilting and binding finished. It was self designed using Judy Hopkins books. Started with the 8" squares cut from fabric of hibiscus. Then using squares from her books arranged and rearranged on design wall until I had a plan I liked. Really like it but don't have a place to hang it. Maybe I'll repaint a room to match the quilt. Sorry about the lighting on the quilt.
