Well thank you Raggiemom, I came on the forum today to get a little motivation. I even have my "next" fabric prewashed and ready for cutting. It will be a fast project and I think fun.

It's not that I don't want to sew but that it's been about 2 weeks really since I did anything and that is rare for me, usually I do something quilting related every day and thinking about it doesn't quite count. Woke up this morning determined to clean things up a bit, I think that although that isn't what I want to do, it's what I need to do so that I can do what I want.

So today I will finish up my coffee and commit to 2 hours of fabric organization and find the red and white pin dot I'm looking for to make binding. I have a feeling I hung it up with the next project and it is hanging up behind my bedroom door -- that should be an easy first task to find out.

First off I will stitch some magnetic tape by hand to the back of the spring table runner I just finished. It is kind of a mindless job but I like being able to put something up on my metal door on the inside.

Default MSQC Irish Change

Working on the latest quilt tutorial from MSQC called "Irish Change" looked quick and easy plus had a bunch of fabrics that I couldn't decide what to do with. So about half way piecing the chain blocks and plan to finish this weekend. More stash busting.

Yay! Thanks for hosting, Raggiemom. Today I’ve been working on painting and quilting the individual blocks for the Helen Godden 2017 BOM. I wanted to learn some of her techniques and this has been a fun way of going about it. I still have 3 blocks to paint and quilt and then there’s a big central panel. I also have my March UFOs to work on. All of which should keep me busy all weekend. Looking forward to seeeing what everyone else is working on.

I have a quilt top to finish but I don't know what I am going to do with it. I was going to give it to the local high school's theater production for their gift basket raffle. They were supposed to do Beauty and the Beast this weekend and next but it was cancelled when the government ordered no groups over 250 allowed to gather in NJ

I just made 2 pillowcases for my husband and I using Easter fabric I had. Tomorrow we need to pack up our costumes for B&B and then I have to think of what I want to do. I am on spring break next week and then doing on line learning for at least two weeks after that.

I'll have family here this weekend (starting tonight) so I'm cleaning house in a mad frenzy. Despite that, I will be sewing! My daughter has been begging me to make a quilt for her friend's little girl, so we will do that tomorrow. She is bringing all the fabrics she wants in it. I guess we will take turns watching my little granddaughter (her daughter).

Now that's a clever idea!

Thank you for hosting. I have a baby quilt to put borders on, then build a back. The baby isn't due until June, but I need to get caught up on many quilts.
Looking forward to seeing all your pretty quilts as I dislike the fabric in this one.

I’ll jump in and play! I’m itching to sew again after spending a lot of time on purging my house the past week or so. And I might have been a bit distracted by things happening on the grandma front and the world stage.
