It's hard to believe it is time for another VQW already. I have a number of things on my plate. I need to put a binding on one quilt and I have a number of blocks to do for a swap. I would like to get at least 6 blocks done for the swap and get the binding done. The binding should be priority #1. I have one block on the machine right now and that I will finish before I start the binding. That should fill the entire weekend. IF the weather brightens up with no rain I also have to take a break and get in the garden and do some clean up. It has to be done on a clear day.

Somehow when I started this thread last night, I put it in the wrong place! I'm sorry about the mix-up . I have asked the administrator to move the thread to the Main section.

After grocery shopping and housework earlier today, I picked up my sewing room and finished a couple small projects. Tomorrow I'll have to see what project appeals to me to work on. I'm glad to see there are so many of you quilting with me already

I made a some progress this afternoon. I only made one block which got me to the halfway point of this lap quilt, but I'm happy. Pattern is Impressionist Wreaths from Quilted Twins.

I'm in! Told the fiance he was on his own this weekend because I was going to quilt. We're still deep cleaning/de-spidering but I need a break. Started my sister's DWR, will post a pic later.

Love it, Cathy! That pattern is on my Quilted Twins bucket list.

I need to get an ugly brown quilt top put together and quilt it. I call it ugly b/c it only has different shades of dark brown 10” squares sewn together and the backing is dark dark brown as well. The guy just wants an 84” by 84” warm fluffy quilt. Then quilt a small baby quilt and sew together 2-3 project Linus tops and machine bind a Linus quilt for guild. If I have time after those projects then finish my 100 block challenge top. I started this top over 3 months ago. I’m curious how it will look all sewn together. I only have 8 more blocks to do then Square all blocks and sew the blocks together. That should keep me entertained for 3 days. Happy sewing everyone.

Thanks! It's nice to do some simple sewing of just squares. Very relaxing!

I'm in--did all my lawn chores today (sunny) so I could sew all weekend. Will load a quilt onto the long arm tomorrow morning, get some pictures and load up on new computer which has a great drawing program so I can figure out what to quilt--will do that in front of tv tomorrow night. And then in afternoon, will either put together the pieces of my first Judy Niemeyer quilt (Sunflower Illusions) or pull out embroidery blocks and get sashing and borders on them.

NZquilter: Very pretty.

I made some progress on my UFO. I now have the blocks in 4 diagonal rows sewn together. The other rows are on my design wall waiting patiently. Lol!

I made a mask for my oldest son. I also assembled a fabric book panel for my 8 month old grandson for his baptism on Sunday.

My main goal for tomorrow will be assembling the UFO blocks into rows and, possibly, making a taggie square for my grandson.

I look forward to checking in later tomorrow.

.
