    Do you ever use rayon embroidery thread to machine quilt?

    No, only because it would be too expensive I would
    think.

    If a quilt is going to be used a lot...no as rayon is a weaker thread. For wall hangings, sure.

    I have used rayon especially if it was color that couldn't be matched or found to my liking.
