We got our daughter a sign that states this. "When I die, I want to be put next to a Wal-Mart, so my wife will vist my grave." or something like that.

Yup that happens in my walmart too. I know a person who needed the fabric and when no one showed up she cut her own and took the bolt and all to the front and let them deal with it. And she had even told another lady and this other lady (I don't know) did the same. I later heard them in front that they hated when that happened and they needed to keep someone back there.

The last time I bought fabric at Walmart it took forever for someone to come wait on me. I found the scissors and cut my fabric and another customer's fabric. (Well, I did work at Hancock Fabrics in 1978...does that make me a professional?) If only I knew how to work that little computer machine to make the pricetag.

He's doing fine and comes home today!

Terrible after 30 years of marriage he knows me so well.
This is hilarious. I can just see you burning rubber getting out of the hosp. parking lot. Sounds like me if there was a casino nearby.

About 3 weeks ago while going to Jesup for my sew day with some ladies I stopped at the Walmart there since it was only 9 am and the same thing happened there. I just happened in when the craft dept. manager had put tons of bolts from 1 to 2.50 a yard on sale. In Hinesville it was full price for same bolts of fabric which was priced from $5.95 on up per yard.

I loaded up as well and bought several different fabrics and some I took what was left on bolts. I spent about $150.

They haven't had it since though with cotton fabrics. Now they have the fleece on sale in both towns down to about $4.44 a yard for fleece that retails for between $8 - $12 a yard. Haven't touched those yet hoping it will go down a bit more.

Both Walmarts will loose there sewing department in next couple months so now they are starting to reduce prices.

I'd rather be fabric shopping then in a waiting room. You can't do anything in a waiting room but wish time away.

Hah - I would say more so than a young guy who walked over from the nearby tire /automotive department and cut my fabric for me - I must have had a funny look on my face because he sheepishly smiled and said "it isn't that hard to cut fabric."
