I think it is brilliant to add WM number to your cell phone. I think I will do that for my local Joanne's Super Store, a place that suffers from lack of hired help, especially if there is more then five people in the store!

I have often used my cell phone to call and ask for assistance in the fabric department at Walmart. It seems to work the best!

That is sad that Walmart is understaffed. I'm sorry, but they have taken out so many other businesses(especially in the small towns), they should have someone in the fabric dept. at all times.

I don't tolerate attitude when shopping at Walmart....if I encounter it, I report it....it's the only way it can be fixed. I shop there all the time and know that the department manager is there on Monday-Friday, from 7am-4pm. She may not always be at the cutting table or within hearing range of the little bell, so I find someone to page her....problem solved.

I was thinking today while browsing in Walmarts' fabrics - the sales are going to go down (and the dept OUT) because there is hardly ever anyone there that knows anything about the department! The dept. person is in crafts or florals, several aisles away. Ring the bell and someone from electronics covers. The electronics person today that came was asked of they carried embroidery thread. That person didn't know. I was about to tell them that if they can't find it, HobbyLobby and ACMoore across the street does. One time I did have an electronics person cut my fabric. He cut it big because the scissors was giving him a fit!!

Think I'll give this a try. Went in a Walmart the other day waited 10 minutes, then walked around another 20 to find a clerk anywhere. Finally found one to help. I couldn't agree more, if you're going to have a department that requires immediate customer service someone needs to be there at all times.

My family went to the movies and was waiting for it to start. For some reason, there was a delay, but they wouldn't tell us what was going on. We were just waiting!
At 1:30, I called the theater and asked, "What time does the 1:00 show begin?"

We are suposed to be getting a Walmart where we had a Haggens store was that closed. Don't know if that will happen, it will be less than a mile away. I will still so to my LQS, 4 miles away, but if I have a notion emergency, I will probably check out Walmart. Brand name pins, needles, some thread would be OK at Walmart
