Default Panama City, Florida-Quilts on the Bay

I am on vacation in Panama City, Florida and had the opportunity to visit this wonderful quilt shop "Quilts on the bay. What a nice place to shop and they have very friendly people working there. Wishing I would have brought my sewing machine with me.

I hope your enjoying The Emerald Coast! I grew up in Pensacola, about 100miles from there. That area has the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Just last week I ordered online from Quilting by the Bay in Florida on a Monday. And my complete order was sitting in my mailbox in Illinois on Thursday. What great service. I especially love their Judy Niemeyer patterns and kits. I wish I could visit their store.

Have a great vacation.

I have been to that shop once (it's about 125 miles west of where I live) and I loved shopping there. I could have spent all day in that pretty place. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Have fun in PCB.

I have a son that is just finishing up tech school for the USAF in Pensacola. I am kicking myself that I did not take the time and money to go visit him. Somewhere down the line in his AF career, they may send him to Panama City for more training. Thanks to you post, if I go visit, I know where to find a great quilt shop.

We spent a month down in Panama City Beach two years ago and I visited that shop several times. Very nice place, and yes I did buy fabric also.

I went to that shop this summer while on vacation. I LOVED it. The keep a good record of what fabric you buy. Then if you need more once you are home they know exactly what you want. Friendly staff and beautiful stuff.
