Default wash before mailing???

hi! i have several things that i have made; table runners, placemats, wall hangings, potholders, that are hitting the mail tomorrow. one is a gift the others are for sale. the big question is~~~~do i wash them before i send them out to be sold???? ive never done this before and i am curious what you all do. i love the krinkled look when they are washed, maybe someone else would hate it. maybe someone else will freak out if they come out of the dryer krinkled if they are not expecting it. but if there is anything that is going to come apart, shrink way out of whack, not work right, etc, id like to find out before i sent it on and if i wash them then i know for sure.
what do ya'll do with your stuff before you send it out? thanks for the input!

I wash every quilt I make before it leaves my house for several reasons. The most important reason is to make sure that it doesn't fall apart! I would hate for a seam to pop for the new owner after they wash it. Now, table runners and wall hangings are a different story. I don't wash these before they travel. I just don't see that it is necessary, JMHO. I will steam press them to freshen them a little bit but that is it. Wall hangings and table runners just aren't going to get washed as much as a quilt will.

If items are for sale, then you'd hate for it to get there uncrinkled and have it crinkle up after washing. Better that they get it as it will be.

Plus, I like to get body oils, pet hair, dust, etc. off before sending off.
