Does anyone know of a pieced turdle pattern? I am wanting to make a baby quilt for a very dear friend who is having a little boy. She is decorating his room in a "pond" theam. She found the qutest stuffed turdle and I would love to make a quilt to match it. Thanks.

if you are going to do applique...try a coloring book. They make very cute appliques.

Oh sorry I cant help with the pattern, but the word "turdle" just cracks me up :-). My daughter actually has two turtles, she named them "Murdle" and "Gurdle". They crack me up too :-)

I used this pattern: http://www.paperpanache.com/free/simplereqs/turtle.htm

it was quite easy to do and I made it a bit smaller than the 6.5" x 4.5" size given.

Thanks you have given me some resourses to explore. I am new to quilting and haven't paper pieced or done aplique yet. I was hoping to find a basic pieced pattern but I may need to branch out my skills. Thanks
