I will wash afterwards. If it is a baby quilt, I am sure to tell them to re-wash it with baby laundry detergent just to be on the safe side.

I do wash my quilts etc. before gifting. I like to know it is clean, plus I think it makes the project look better. IMHO~

always wash and dry it especially since this virus thing.
