The quilts that we use quite often have gotten the dingy faded look to them and discovered if you wash your quilts in baking soda or super washing soda the color brightens them up a lot. Soda will desolve laundry soap, fabric softner and hard water minerals that build up. My quilts look like new quilts now.

thats a good idea.....also I always wash my quilts on GENTLE cycle

Thanks for that tip. How much do you use in a full load? I use a full load so it uses a lot of water.
