After reading about your wonderful other half I have come to the conculusion I want one too. Which quilting shop sells them 'cause I haven't found one after years of searching.

They usually don't come that way. It takes years of training.
My DH and I have been married for 37 years and he just keeps getting better. :)

I don't have a husband, but
if I did, he would have to
allow for the messy life
style of this quilter.

Mine built a beautiful floor and walkway into my greenhouse. You can see pictures on my blog. He's generally a pretty good guy.

Mine does, even when it spills over from my room. 45 years ago I was tidier (no fabric) but he has gracefully evolved with me.

I am blessed with a wonderful caring husband.
He shares my passion for collecting antique/vintage sewing machines.
He has a great eye for color in fabric choices.
He's very supportive of adding to my stash, always asking if I want to visit my favorite quilt shop when we are in the area.
He's handy and creative. He's giving and gives of himself.
Many of my vintage machines are because he has traded his hobby items for them.
I am most blessed for my husband.
But most of all my husband is a Godly man. He is what he is because of God.

My husband is great too! He has built me some many things, too, not only for my sewing room but knitting looms and the list does go on. And most of all he always compliments me and likes the things I make, paint, etc. I love him so much. He is the answer to my prayer, almost 28 years ago, for a husband!!

Tell him beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this is a part of your soul'

Ask him what makes his soul smile. He might be suprised at the answer.

He also installed a screen door so I can keep it open w/o the cats running in and out.

Oh gosh, I thought mine was the only one who put a screen door on for an inside door. I too have a screen door at the entrance to my studio. Keeps those little four legged creatures out of my fabric. Although one sits in front of the door and meows to get attention.

My hubby has COPD so he can't do all the things he used to do for me and is now on Hospice but is very supportive. He even gave me permission to buy the small pieces to make a quilt frame for quilting. I will store them, then after he has passed, his room will become my quilting room. His is the largest bedroom. He is great.
