Quilt tops
#1
I have several quilt "tops". Actually they are all lap size that I am not going to put backs on and don't want. What do you think I should do with them? I made them just to learn how to make the pattern? I don't want them to just "sit around".

Jan in Va was collecting quilt tops to sent to soldiers. You can probably find a lot of other charities that would love to have them.
I know my Quilting Guild would love to take them and have others in the Guild quilt them.

Hi Deanna,
Is there a guild nearby? Many guilds make quilts for a variety of charitable causes - 'comfort quilts', childcan, etc. They may be interested in taking your tops, putting them together for distribution.
In our area, there are also some church groups doing similar work.
My humble suggestion - keep your very first top - you'll enjoy comparing it to your work 5 and ten years from now!! :)

I doooooooo have my first top believe it or not and thats all it is...all it was was blocks that were left over fabric from shirts I made my husband when I first learned to sew and they dont have many corners that meet up. LOL
I will have to do that. Gather them up theres 3 or 4 of them. Thanks for the advice.
