If you're comfortable with stitching in the ditch, I would do that but maybe add some echo quilting as well which will fill in the blank spaces and add some easy-to-do dimension. Very nice pattern, by the way.

Nice job with your quilt. Love cats. Ours is so funny. He does somersaults. Started doing them when he was in trouble. Has been doing them since - about 5 1/2 years.

I love the quilt and I agree it falls in the modern category which is my favorite! I like to SITD too but would also do some straight line stitching in the white too-the echo idea is appealing to me too on this quilt!

When you get more comfortable with FMQ, you have some great spaces for FMQ designs.

I would grid quilt using the edge of the foot as the guide.. and move the needle to give you the widest path.

That really turned out nice, very pretty. And modern. If it were mine I would SITD around the purple and do swirlies in the white. But that's me, a swirly quilter. Another idea for the white parts are rows of gently wavy lines. Have fun!
