I have done a few little stitches just see how it does. Love how quiet it is!

Wal-Mart had some fabric on sale for $3/yd. I got 3 yards and a panel! Now to sew!!!

You can use the old bobbins like they are spools of thread that you load your bobbins from...I have a machine or two that works fine with, others I have to hold the "donating" bobbin in my hand while it loads to the other one...

You won't be sorry! I've had Janomes for about 20 years now. I currently have a 10001 and love it. Never a problem with any of them--I just kept trading up. You will be thrilled with it!

You will love it! I bought the same model machine last year and it's a beautiful machine.

If I may suggest a free Craftsy on-line class called "Sewing Machine 911" with Claudia Miller. http://www.craftsy.com Once in the Craftsy site, select On-Line Classes, and then Sewing. She uses 3 machines to demonstrate how to maintain a machine and a Janome is one of them. She talks about bobbins, thread, cleaning the machine, etc. It was a good review for me and it is free!

Enjoy your machine!
