Summer will soon be on us and I would like to start planning a get together for us out West. Any one can come, of course. Anyone interested in getting together this summer, please post here or PM me as to where you live, where you would like to meet and what we would like to do. We will try to come up with a place good for most. Are we camping, or motel rooming? We can do both in some areas. What you think?

I live in NE California, Modoc County. Almost Oregon, almost Nevada, but still CA. I like to travel cheap. It is the only way I can, but I can travel a ways. Would like to meet in a smaller area where rooms are cheaper, with some fabric shops nearby. Mt Shasta City comes to mind.

That sounds like fun Norah! I'm not sure I could make it this time - I'm leaving in a couple weeks for my first "real" vacation in years & that will take up all of my vacation time for this year. I'm driving & calling it "The Girlfriend Tour" - from So. Calif to Texas, Arkansas, Missouri & Idaho, about 4500 miles in all. Yikes! But keep me in the loop & maybe I can still work something out!
