Default What block could be made from these?

These were in a donation. There are 4 identical sets.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

One of the triangles should fit the top of the rectangular piece, making a straight edge another triangle fits, then line up the third. Play around with it, you will figure it out. Each addition should give you a new straight edge to add to

The only block I could think of was EB's May basket quilt but I think you need two rectangle that are opposite. Check out here website:

ManiacQuilter2: That is a nice quilt. Thanks for the idea.

ckowl: Thanks for the directions. Look what I came up with from your suggestions and support!

I will need to replace some triangles or braids because the sets in the pinned groups weren't complete but I now have a new block idea.

i know I have seen this block or one similar to it somewhere. I will probably sash it, make it baby size, and donate it.

i just want to say thanks to everyone on this board for their willingness to help and for sharing their ideas. I have learned so much since joining.

Have a great Holiday season.

Wow, don't know how you came up with that but it's very pretty.
