Thanks!! I appreciate all of the responses! The back is solid gray - so I think any color binding will work for the back

Very nice t-shirt quilt. I agree with everyone else that a black binding would work well.

To match the border would add no interest at all. I would use the same gold as the inner border.

I would bind in the bright green in several of the blocks.

I would probably choose one of the colors from the tees just to be different because I love colorful bindings.

I would bind in the gold. Though black would look good too...but I prefer the gold. Beautiful quilt!

How about a black binding with a gold flange? That would mirror the borders. A link to the tutorial on how to make the binding. A plus: it is 100% machine sewed, but still looks very nice.
