Do you have any idea how long this mat lasts? I have always used Fiskers mats but I am thinking that they make the blades wear out fast. Where did you but rhe mat you wrote me about?

Large green Olfa

Small green something else. After less than half of my cutting for one project, there were cuts on my mat that did not and will not heal, and my rotary blade had dulled significantly. I bought the Olfa then. I like the green...its easy on the eyes when you're staring at it forever...lol

I have several mats and don't see any difference between the Olfa and Fiskar mats as durability and usage goes. The latest one that I bought is the green/yellow 24x36" Fiskar. I am finding that the contrast between the mat and the edge of the fabric is terrific. Much easier for me to use, especially at night.

I have about 5 Olfa green mats in various sizes that I love. I decided to buy a QuiltCut2 by Alto's that has a beige mat. Very bad color if you have eye problems like I have. Can't exchange it because it was bought at a Quilt Show. Called Company to suggest changing color because of our aging population and they were not very helpful. Told me to glue a green mat in its place. Boy are "WE" going to have to assert our rights.

I have mostly the green ones and have no problems. I also have a blue one and have no problems but I must say I like the
green ones best.
