what to do with 1/2 square triangles that didn't come out right
I thought I had the 8 at atime triangles figured out so made 48....not to smart! Now when I try to sew 2 together I don't have the 1/4" at the top.Ay ideas what I could use them for? Of course it is my favorite blue fabric matched up with white.

Some of my best projects came out of mis-cuts or mis-takes. Have you measured them and figured out where things went off? You could square them up and change the dimensions on the current project. Or, you could square them up and set them aside until inspiration slaps you upside the head. (That is usually how it happens for me - with an "aha" moment)

I keep a container near my machine for "miscuts." If one doesn't fit, I just throw it in the container to deal with later (usually cut down to a smaller size and use for another project). For me short cuts never are... Even my "long cuts" go awry often enough.
