I use the larger ones when I have a quilt taped down on the floor for basting or using that quilting gun thingy. They lift the quilt off the floor or carpet so you don't scratch floor with needle or stitch quilt to carpet. You can move them easily around under the quilt too. Works good for me.

I string a bunch together with ribbon or soft cotten cording and my grand kids play with them.

As for those empty medicine bottles.....great for keeping beads in for bead work. Also some churches collect them to use to put meds in on mission trips. Check some of your local churches to see if they can use them. We have one in our area that is thrilled to get them.

I have given some to the art teacher at the school where I work. I asked if she could use any & she said anything you don't want bring to me. I've brought small pieces of felt, buttons, scraps of fabric, odds & ends of craft things, ribbon etc. I need to do some more cleaning & get more things ready to bring to her. Someone can always use them.
