Default What Do You Do With Left Over Binding?

What do you do with left over binding material? Mine is mounting up. I use 2 1/4", so I can't throw it in the left over jelly roll bin. I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

I use it on pot holders or mug rugs. You can use it up on scrap quilt bindings also.

I also use 2.25" bindings. I trim my leftovers to 2" and then into my 2" scrap box. Then it is ready for those scrap quilts that need 2".

We need a LIKE button. Use it for string quilts or use like a jelly roll but all 2 1/4 pieces.

I use 2 1/2 inch binding so I just put in my bin with 2 1/2 inch strips scraps. If I were you I would save for scrap quilt binding.

I also use 2 1/4" binding. I use little pieces as leaders and Enders then toss. Larger pieces I save and use in scrappy bindings on scrap quilts or press back open and use in string quilts.

I am NOT that organized. If they are short, they become enders then eventually end up in the doggie bed stuffing container otherwise they go into a big scrap bin.

I often wind up a fairly long leftovers of bindings and mine are also 2 1/4" wide. I save them and when I need a scrappy binding, I just sew them all together or I add them in to other pieces of binding I'm cutting to make a really neat looking scrappy binding. I also use them for pot holders or other small projects. I never toss them unless they are really small pieces.

So far, they're all shoved into a drawer. I appreciate people's ideas because the drawer is really full!
