I just finished putting a binding on a lap quilt and for the first time ever I had cut the exact amount of bias. Usually I roll up the leftover binding and put it in a box. The shoebox is full and there are lots of colors, patterns, etc. So I'm wondering..... what do YOU do with your leftover bias binding? I need to figure something out or get a bigger box.

Sew them together to make a scrappy binding.

I sew them together for a scrappy binding. Never know when you will need it.

Use it on mug rugs, or other small projects.

occasionally there has been enough on a roll to do a mug rug. but mostly, i never have that much left. i have seen some 'scrappy' bindings on quilts pictured on the QB... just sew the lengths together.

wait until you get enough left over from different quilts and put them all together and bind a scrappy quilt. the different bindings cool great.

That's exactly what I do also, use all of them together on a scrappy quilt! Great minds think alike!
