Mostly Santana. Stevie Ray Vaughn & John Lee Hooker. Like the blues & the mellow sounds of Carlos. Also Earl Thomas Connelly- The Essentials.

I like to listen to country gospel or just country music. I'm afraid to turn the TV on get distracted and sew or cut my finger off. But that's me there are probabley women that can do both....How talented!

This was a great question and I am going to love the radiolovers.com website! I just discovered Pandora as a free app on my IPhone and listen to the Bubblegum DooWop list or the Broadway list.

I listen to audiobooks on my MP3 player (love that my library has downloadable audiobooks for checkout), or nothing.

Just like you I listen to old and new American country and folk music in my CD and tape collection when I am stitchin away. But when I really have to concentrate I like just my own company, nothing else. I also love the many BBC phone-in programmes we get here in Britain, they are very entertaining sometimes.

I don't have anything going, just the sewing machine humming. God bless.

I listen to the rhythm of my machine and enjoy watching pattern take shape; thoughts of other things to make - a waste of electricity if only half listening to radio or tv and less chance of making mistakes because of being distracted!!

I listen to books on tape while I am actually quilting. When I am planning, I need silence. When I am cutting or piecing, I play music, whatever fits the mood of the day.
