What do you still want to learn about quilting?

Wow, I am a beginner so I have lots to learn. I love surfing the net to find cool links, read articles and watch videos.

Hand applique. Not sure I have the patience, but I want to at least try it.

Hand quilting. Someone taught me a while back, went home, got frustrated and didn't get back into it. One day, I want to try again tho.

which technique there are several. Needle turn I think is probably the most common I've heard discussed.

Besides everything. It's all so fascinating and creative. But to narrow it. My interest is peaked by paper piecing. I've got a ways to go before I dive into that however.

1. Curve piecing. My next quilt I have designed with have curves in it.

2. Paper piecing. I got a taste with my last quilt but I want to take it further. My next quilt I designed has curves and is all paper pieced - should be good challenge for me.

3. Master machine quilting. Right now I can barely do a straight line let alone any designs.

4. Learn how to hand quilt successfully on a frame. Right now I only use a hoop and because that is my comfort zone.

I am cetain I will think of more
