Default Janome Horizon 7700 users, need help...

I have been piecing with the O2 foot in D1 mode and have discovered that my blocks turn out too small. I fiddled and fiddled and it seems I need a width of 4.6 instead of the machine's 3.5 to get that scant seam. I would love for anyone to chime in on what they have done with the Janome 7700 to get the proper sized blocks...even though the needle is moved to the right by my adjustment, I am still able to use the D1 mode and the needle still clears the small hole. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi, I've also had to move the needle over to get a scant seam although most of the time I use the 3.5. But I haven't had to move it as much as you mention.

When you say it clears the little hole, do you have the APC engaged? Because when I do, I can't change the position of the needle.

Maybe take it to your dealer and have them check it out. There could be a minor adjustment needed.

BTW, are you a member of the Janome 7700 group on Yahoo? If not, it's a great group and there's a lot of help with the machine.

With 02 foot I set needle position at 4.5 and do not use D1 mode. after pressing blocks are accurate.

I too changed the width to 4.6 and that solved the problem. I think there's a way to save the adjustment but I don't know how.
