Well, if you get it home and decide you don't like it I'll be happy to take it off your hands :) I think it's perfect!!!

If the shelves seem weak at all, you could put a brace in the middle of each one. Just a simple piece of wood (painted white of course) and place them directly above the lower one so the lower one will support the next. It works, I know, because I had to do that to a bookcase that was full (of all things) of books.

Here's one that came home with me today. The picture is taken at the lady's house where I bought it.

I'm going to pattern my fabric placement after Alaska Sunshine's tutorial here on this board. I love the way she stores hers.

Wow, that's lovely....would love to have something like this but then that required for me to have enough fabric to put there, which means that (a) buy materials (b) ask for fabrics to load it up! LOL....hope it's what you're looking for.

Yes it looks very nice and even if it is pressed board it is worth that amount. I love white in the sewing studio. I have oak cabinets that match my kitchen and book cases that we built with pressed boards that hold magazines, craft books and embroidery designs, gadgets and fabric, and then 10' of shelves that hold folded fabric.

[quote=bearisgray]Looks nice.

Have you asked/checked on the load capacity of the shelves?

Fabric and books get heavy.

Reason for asking: I bought a bookcase - loaded it with books - and the shelves are sagging.[/
