I'm heading to Salisbury, MD in early November. Can anyone recommend quilt/fabric shops in the area or within a reasonable distance. I vaguely remember someone writing about a great bargain shop on the Delmarva Peninsula, but, of course, I cannot remember the name or location.

Any help is very much appreciated.

The only one I know of in the area is Serendipity (I think that's the name) in Dagsboro, DE. Nice shop. I think it's on Rt. 54 in Dagsboro but if you do a google search it will come up. It's not too far off Rt. 113 on the way to Salisbury.

An Arm Long

There is "Lillies of the Field" in Easton, "Quilt Vine" in Trapp and Peggy's" in Centerville as well as one in Salisbury which I can't recall the name of.

Depending on what direction you are traveling to get there, if you are headed from northern Delaware down, you pretty much have to pass through Middletown, and my favorite shop is on 896. Lil Country Shoppe. It's a little store just off the road in an old farm house. Awesome store!
