Default What I got for X-mas

My mother who hates!, sewing came for x-mas with my brother and my son. After our all morning long breakfast, my mom suggested checkers, I have no checkers, for shame. I said I have a better idea, how about if you help me do a new thing for my breakfast nook wall in orange. No sewing, just cutting bits of fabric in orange. We cut, she asked a few questions and this is where we left off. She has plans to return, to finish her project. I am in awe and we had a wonderful time while the boys prepared a fabulous dinner.

Family, that's what the Holiday Season should be about. Glad you had a wonderful day!

FYI you can make a checkerboard and checkers out of fabric. Maybe she would like to help.
