Right now I am making a Biscuit quilt with Minkee and when I had to cut all the squares I put some old muslin on the floor and then my cutting tools. That is where I cut it all, then I just rolled up the muslin and took it straight out to the trash. I did have a little to vacuum up but it was not bad. I am almost finished with it and of course it is for one of my great grand daughters. I have an attachment for my vacuum and use it on my sewing machine. I do really like the feel of it and will probably make another one as I am sure word will get around.

That's why I pay someone to do long arm on Minky. So much easier on the brain and they are usually baby ones for family only, so cost is minimal for me not to do it, but I love the feel of them and so do the little ones.

The key is to cut the minky and then air fluff for 5-10 minutes in the dryer. There will be no more "fuzzies" after that. Yes there will be some when you initially cut it but the air fluffing makes a huge difference.
