I have a little Rowenta iron that I use for pressing, and I have found that a plastic squeeze bottle with a pointed nozzle is excellent to use to fill the iron with water without drowning the ironing board. It works great!!

I just refill a water bottle. Its easy and has a cap. I had a habit of knocking over the water pitcher I was using.

I use distilled water and I keep it in one of my creamer bottles. It has a spout on it and pours right in.

I use one of those plastic ketsup bottles they sell in dallor stores. The ones that resturants used to use with the pointed (kind of) tops.

I can see me now. I get the water in the bottle, put the pointy tip on, and when I tip it down to put in the iron, it goes all over the place. Kind of like using the turkey baster.

My new Rowenta came with a little container to fill the iron.
