You know the plastic water cans for indoor plants. That's what I use. The long pour spout is very easy for me to see what I'm doing.

I use an old water bottle that is supposed to clip on to the bicycle. You know those semi-clearn nalgene ones that were popular for a while? I was going to throw it our because the opening had discolored and no one really wanted to use it anymore. It works great. Best part, I already had it in the cabinet. I try to repurpose before I go buy something new. Must the the engineer in me. I'm glad to know someone else out there does this too. I am grateful to be able to close the top to prevent it from spilling when I (or one of my 2 cats) knock it over.

I pour straight from the gallon jug of spring water. I'm getting pretty good at not spilling, too!

I use a Dawn dish liquid bottle. Pull the top up, fill the iron, and push the top back down. Works great for me.

Sounds like it functions like the "recycled" water bottle I'm using. It is always interesting to see how people solve the same problem.

I think you may be talking about a condiment bottle like for ketchup or mustard? I have one, too for that purpose and its clear. I found it in a grocery/everything store.

I think I might like that better than my water bottle. I wonder if I have one floating around the bottom of the pit otherwise known as the pantry.
