What kind of hanging quilt rack?
I would like to know what kind of hanging quilt rack you all recommend.
We just had our house redecorated and DH hates to put holes in walls.
What do you recommend is the best way to do a wall hanging without
much wall damage.
Thanks in advance for your input.

I use slats of wood that I get in the baseboard section of Lowe's or Home Depot. I then use command hooks on the end and they don't damage walls. The hooks come in different sizes to hold different weights.

I have a vaulted ceiling so there is a perfect spot for large quilts above a sofa. I bit the bullet and put cafe curtain rods. There are 6 screw holes in the walls. It you have a great spot, one permanent hook works better than multiple hooks. But the beauty of it is I just have to take down the rod and change the quilts instead of "rehanging" every time. The rod stays the same size and the quilts hang fine. Smaller hangings like art quilts, I use the command hooks all the time.

Hang It, Dang It only needs 1 nail in wall. It's self-leveling when you put the clip in the center. Google it. Several places sell it and they come in 3 sizes. Each size will telescope to fit a range so you can get exact measurement of your quilt. Nothing shows. I love them.

I also use command strips when possible because I have textured wall in my apt. I use one of those skinny curtain rods to kept things as light as possible. I also use push pins occasionally too.
