So far I am a sewing monogamist. I have a Viking Emerald 118. That is it. I use it for everything and I love it. She is a work-horse and has not given me an ounce of trouble! I understand sewing machines are like tattoos - it is hard to stop with just one. Interestingly enough, I only have one of those too... Hmmmm...

Have a 1990's mechanical Kenmore, trusty little thing. Then a 2000 Pfaff 2038 which is serviced more than it sews (sigh), a Viking something- can't remember - not real fancy - to have when the Pfaff was on strike and now - a lovely Pfaff Ambition.

I've thought about this but how would I sew in the dark? Ours usually goes out at night. :)

wow, glad i am not alone, i should let dh read this thread, he thinks i am nuts, i buy every reasonable neat looking machine i see. I have a treadle, a FW (born same year as me), Janome gem, kenmore, 2 brothers,a Simplicity, a White-Westinghouse, plus 4 toy machines, a dressmaker and 3 that don't work, old ones. Can't pass up a good deal.

I have a Brother SQ9050, A Singer 401A, and the newly arrived JUKI 2000!! :)

I had another machine, that was the first one I owned.. it was a hand me down from a lady at work that I paid 25 dollars for, when I got the Brother, I stopped using it and have since given it to my sis. :) Who has yet to use it... :)
