I like to refer to it as my "Lady Lair" to other people, but mostly I just call it the "front room" or the "sewing room" - it's in the living room so a third of it essentially a hallway, and I can't quite ever relax and let myself be fully creative (messy) in there because it's a public space that all our guests walk through. (Though it's always some degree of messy anyway)
DH & I are considering moving in a year or two (or whenever) and one of the first things on the "must have" list is a private sewing space for me - a spot that people do not go tromping through and I don't have to keep it "presentable". Then I might feel like "Lady Lair" is true!

My room is called my happy place. We have been through a rough patch the last couple of years. The stress has been overwhelming. I could walk in that room and immediately start to relax. When I was feeling down I would lose myself in there and walk out ready to face our challenges once again.

We recently built a new garage with finished space above. It's called "The Garottage" and it's where I do all of my quilting/sewing. My happy place!
