Also called periwinkle or Arkansas star great templates from Ardco.com my small group did these by hand in 30's reproduction prints.

I believe it is the Arkansas Star. http://www.quilterscache.com/A/Arkan...lakeBlock.html This is a link, just imagine it without the spinning stars in the middle. Hope this helps.

Hi all; Hope every one has a Happy New Year! I looked at it and to me it looks like a pattern using Phillips Fiber Arts Squedge ruler. She makes round quilts but has an addition to make them square.

I do think it looks like the Arkansas Star but alas I've never done paper piecing, is there something similar that wouldn't require paper piecing? I'm going to check a few more of your suggestions that you all have offered on this thread. Thanks for the continued suggestions.

I did contact the store and at that time they did not know the name as it was an antique quilt from Jenny's personal collection, but thank-you boneyard for the suggestion. :0)
