want to study up on nine patch patterns, especially the disappearing nine patch....I know there are many, many patterns....I do prefer a book to sit and read and go thru...with good pictures and instructions....Will appreciate any and all suggestions given here....

there are free tutorials on the disappearing nine patch on the internet. I also like 9 patch pizazz
