I can't say there is a part of quilting I like least---I have something I like about every part of it. I never allow unwashed fabric into my sewing room! The moment it comes in the house, it's in the washer. That way, I never have to wonder if I have washed a certain fabric when I am getting ready to sew. I used to dislike handfinishing my bindings---I piece and quilt on my machines---but recently I find I enjoy the task of handwork on the bindings.

On another note, it is great to be back to the Quilting Board. My computer has been 'down' while my DH completely wiped the hard drive and then reload everything in order to (hopefully) get rid of the virus that has been bugging me for months and months. He essentially made me a new computer!
I hate the part when you think your machine has broken down. Nope, operator error.

I think the cutting and measuring part is what bothers me most.
I'm terrible at measuring. I actually break out in a sweat over it.
Everything else is a breeze for me, relatively speaking. I don't mind binding at all. And usually I hand quilt which is so relaxing. If it's queen or king size, I send it to my quilting lady who is an angel. 8-)

And I adore the quilting part, just would like to find someone to trade with - they piece my quilts and I'll quilt for them! I don't like hand work, but I love the look of hand-sewn bindings so I do them.

lol - DITTO here!!

I really enjoy hand stitching the binding. I use tiny stitches (approx. 10-12 per inch). I find it very relaxing.
((ok so I'm odd ))
I love the designing and piecing of the quilts. I even like hand stitching the binding but the quilting part is the part that gives me the most headaches. Maybe that is why I have so many tops made and stacked in the corner!!!!!!!
